Arooda Terms of Use

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THESE TERMS CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION AND WAIVER OF CLASS ACTION RIGHTS (SECTION 13). PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Arooda. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Arooda, Inc. ("Arooda," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Boston, Massachusetts.

By accessing or using our website (www.arooda.life), our WhatsApp-based astrological services, or any associated software (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Specialized Service Definition (Meta/WhatsApp Compliance)

2.1 Specialized Astrological Service. You acknowledge and agree that Arooda is a Specialized Astrological Consultation Service and not a general-purpose AI assistant. The AI utilized by Arooda is strictly scoped to provide astrological insights, natal chart calculations, and spiritual guidance based on specific database parameters.

2.2 Prohibited Interactions. You agree not to attempt to use the Services for general-purpose queries unrelated to astrology, including but not limited to coding assistance, general web search, or content generation unrelated to your personal horoscope. Arooda reserves the right to block or ignore prompts that fall outside this specialized scope to maintain compliance with third-party platform policies.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirement. Arooda is strictly intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect information from or direct content to individuals under 18.

3.2 Geographic Restrictions. The Services are void where prohibited. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all local laws and regulations regarding online astrology and digital content.

4. Platform Dependency and Third-Party Risks

4.1 WhatsApp (Meta) Reliance. The Services are delivered exclusively via the WhatsApp Business Platform, a third-party service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). Arooda has no control over Meta's policies, service availability, or terms of service.

4.2 Service Interruption. Arooda is not liable for any delay, suspension, or termination of Services caused by:

  • Changes to WhatsApp's Business Solution Terms.
  • WhatsApp outages or technical failures.
  • The banning or restriction of Arooda's business phone number by Meta. In the event of a permanent platform ban that renders the Service undeliverable, Arooda's liability is limited to a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription fees for the affected period.

5. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimers

5.1 Probabilistic Nature of AI. You acknowledge that the Services utilize generative artificial intelligence technology. This technology is probabilistic, not deterministic, and may occasionally generate incorrect, inaccurate, or misleading information ("hallucinations").

5.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy. Arooda does not guarantee the accuracy of any astrological interpretation, planetary position, or prediction provided by the AI. You agree to verify any factual claims independently before relying on them.

5.3 Entertainment Purposes Only. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND SPIRITUAL EXPLORATION PURPOSES ONLY. The Services do not constitute, and shall not be used as a substitute for, licensed professional advice, including but not limited to:

  • Medical Advice: Diagnosis, treatment, or mental health counseling.
  • Financial Advice: Investment strategies or financial planning.
  • Legal Advice: Legal counsel or representation.

Arooda is not a licensed provider in any of these fields. If you are facing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, contact emergency services (911 in the US) immediately.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:
  • Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Attempt to analyze the horoscopes of third parties without their explicit consent.
  • Send high-volume, repetitive messages ("spam") that could trigger WhatsApp's automated blocking systems.
  • Input any sensitive personal data (such as Social Security Numbers or financial account details) into the chat interface.

7. Subscriptions, Cancellations, and Refunds

7.1 Billing. If you purchase a paid subscription, you authorize Arooda to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until you cancel.

7.2 "Click-to-Cancel" Rights. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Consistent with Massachusetts consumer protection laws and federal regulations, we provide a simple cancellation mechanism.

  • Immediate Cancellation: Type the command #STOP (in all caps) directly into the Arooda WhatsApp chat to immediately cancel your service and stop future billing.
  • You may also cancel via your account portal at app.arooda.life.

7.3 Refunds. Arooda gives you a 30-day free trial period to evaluate our services. Beyond your free trial, you may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be entitled to a refund for any unused portion of the subscription term.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Ownership. Arooda retains all rights, title, and interest in the AI models, algorithms, and content generation methodologies.

8.2 License to User. Arooda grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the generated reports and insights for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not republish, sell, or distribute Arooda's content.

8.3 User Inputs. By submitting questions or life details to Arooda, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use such inputs to generate responses and, in anonymized and aggregated form, to improve our Services.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AROODA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arooda, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. However, if you are a resident of Massachusetts, nothing in these Terms shall limit your rights under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A (Consumer Protection Act).

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

12.1 Binding Arbitration. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

12.2 Class Action Waiver. YOU AND AROODA AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

12.3 Right to Opt-Out. You have the right to opt-out of this Arbitration Agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending a written notice to admin@arooda.life.
